Preguntas frecuentes
¿Cómo bloqueo o reporto a alguien?
¿Qué pasa si me reportan?

Frequently asked questions
What is a vault, and where is it stored?
A vault is a .pvault file that keeps your photos, videos and documents encrypted, for you (by default), with a password or for specific people. It lives on your device, in the Vault tab, and you can take it anywhere: without the right password or key, nobody can open it.
Do I lose my vaults if I delete the app or change phones?
Not if you have a backup folder. In the welcome screens or in Settings → Backup, tap “Save to iCloud Drive” and the app creates a “FuaFlow Vault” folder in your iCloud Drive; or choose another folder, on your iPhone (“On My iPhone”) or in iCloud Drive. The app copies every vault (encrypted) and verified photo (signed) there, and those copies aren’t deleted with the app, nor does the app ever delete them. After reinstalling, the app offers to restore what’s missing; on your new phone, tap “Save to iCloud Drive” again (or choose the same folder) and your earlier identity comes back too if you saved its backup there. A new vault is encrypted for you with your identity: to open it on a new phone, back up your identity first (Profile → “Back up identity”); without that backup, the copy in your folder arrives but won’t open. If your iCloud storage is full, the copies stay on the iPhone but don’t reach the cloud, and the app tells you in Settings → Backup. Without a backup folder, iOS deletes the vaults along with the app; that’s why the app warns you while you don’t have one.
I forgot a vault’s password — can you recover it?
No. The password is sent to no one and we keep no copy, so nobody can open the vault without it — including us. That’s what makes it safe.
How do I add someone to chat with?
Add each other as contacts: in the Profile tab, tap “Share my link” and send it over Messages, AirDrop or however you like; when the other person opens it, the app offers to add you, and they send you theirs the same way. You can also tap “Copy key” and paste it into “Add contact” (the + button under Contacts, in Profile). Only your contacts can write to you; on the same Wi-Fi they show up in Chat, under “Nearby (Wi-Fi)”.
How do I link my iPad or another phone?
On the main one: Profile → “Link a device”. On the other one: Profile → “Link with my phone” and scan the code with Vault’s own reader (the system camera doesn’t link). Confirm on both.
How do I block or report someone?
In the chat only your contacts can write to you: if someone else writes from your Wi-Fi, you see a request with “Add”, “Block” and “Report”, without what they sent. To block or report a contact, open the conversation and tap ⋮ (or long-press the conversation in the list); to report a message, long-press it. Alerts from people nearby come with “Report” and “Block”. Reporting opens an email to hola@fuaflow.com inside the app with what you’re reporting: you decide whether to send it, and we review it in less than 24 hours. To unblock: Settings → Blocked people.
What happens if someone reports me?
We review the report in less than 24 hours. If you broke the rules, we expel your key from chat: your messages, requests and alerts no longer reach anyone (the app tells you in Chat). Your vaults are still yours. If you think it was a mistake, write to hola@fuaflow.com. Details in the terms of use.
Do we have to be on the same Wi-Fi?
No. On the same Wi-Fi, messages go straight from phone to phone. When you’re apart, the sealed message waits in the relay server’s mailbox and arrives when the other person opens the app (it’s kept for up to 7 days).
What is “Use the relay server”? Can I turn it off?
It’s the mailbox that delivers your messages when your contact isn’t nearby. It only keeps sealed envelopes it can’t open, doesn’t know who sends them, and deletes them once delivered. You can turn it off in Chat; your messages then travel only over the local network. More in the privacy notice.
How does SOS work?
In “Circle & SOS” you choose your emergency contacts. When you send an SOS, the app prepares a text message with your location for them (you press send) and alerts devices running FuaFlow Vault on your same Wi-Fi. It doesn’t replace 911: if you’re in danger, call emergency services too.
What is a verified photo?
A photo (or video) the app signs as it’s taken, with the time, the location and the network where it was taken. Anyone with the app can later check that not a single pixel has changed since. If your contacts are nearby and agreed to be your witnesses, their phones can sign as witnesses, with the app open (you can turn it off in Settings → Security).
How do I move a vault to another device?
If the other device is nearby, use “Send over Wi-Fi” (the receiver first turns on “Receive over Wi-Fi”, which is off by default): it goes directly, no internet needed. You can also share the .pvault file over AirDrop, Files or however you like; it stays encrypted on the way.
What does Pro include, what happens when the trial ends, and how do I cancel?
Pro is for creating and sending: new vaults, verified photos and videos, messages and transfers, and linking devices. If you subscribe for the first time, you get 14 free days to try it; then you continue with the monthly subscription or a one-time payment that lasts forever, both valid on every device of your Apple ID. If you don't continue, the app becomes read-only: you open, view and extract your vaults, and SOS and your circle always work. If you change phones or reinstall, go to Settings → Plan and tap “Restore purchases”. To cancel the subscription, open your iPhone's Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
I found a bug — how do I report it?
From the app: Settings → Support → “Report a problem”, which opens an email with the app and iOS versions. Tell us three things: what you were doing when it happened, what you expected, and what happened instead. If you can, add a screenshot and your phone model — that’s almost always enough to reproduce and fix it.
